Essex Super Six 1930

This Challenger model, with ribbon radiator and 60 bhp engine was the cheapest form of multi-cylinder motoring available in 1930. It was affectionately known as the "Sloppy Six"? and was eventually supplanted in 1932 by the Terraplane.
18.2 hp, 6 cylinders, 69.8 mm bore, 114.3 mm stroke, 2603 cc, coil ignition, 3-speed unit gearbox.
