Francis Barnett
Along with Scott and Villiers, Francis Barnett were among the earliest proponents of the two stroke engine. Unlike Scott, the company concentrated on the cycle parts and used Villiers engines. Francis Barnett made trials and scrambles machines, but is perhaps best remembered for their commuter machines, such as this one, which were intended to broaden the appeal of motorcycling.

Along with Scott and Villiers, Francis Barnett were among the earliest proponents of the two stroke engine. Unlike Scott, the company concentrated on the cycle parts and used Villiers engines.
