De Havilland DH82 Tiger Moth 1941
(ZK AOX)
An extremely popular two-seater trainer bi-plane, which saw service with many air forces around the world. The RNZAF had over 300 in service during World War II.
130 hp de Havilland Gipsy Major 1, 4 cylinders in line, air-cooled engine, cruising speed 148 km/h, range 458 km, wingspan 8.94 m, length 7.3 m.
 
De Havilland Vampire FB5 1952
This single-seater fighter bomber, NZ 5770, was one of 47 Vampires ordered from the UK by the RNZAF for delivery during 1951-52. The first DH100 Vampire flew in September 1943. Vampires were also made as single-seat intercepter fighters and two-seat advanced trainers.
One 3500 lb thrust, de Havilland Goblin 35 centrifugal type turbo jet, wingspan 11.6 m, length 10.5 m, maximum speed at 30,000 ft 880 km/h, range 1963 km. Armament: Four 20 mm Hispano cannons and 907 kg (2000 lb) of bombs or rockets.
